The Guidance and Counseling Program, with an emphasis on child and adolescent counseling, meets the requirements for school counseling and prepares individuals to apply for Texas certification as a School Counselor. The program has a strong experiential emphasis on working with children and youth in the school setting. A certification-only program for individuals who already hold a master’s degree is also offered.
