The Offices of Correspondence, Extension & Study Abroad Programs are located in Room 302 of Academic Services Building-North, adjacent to Old Main. For our exact location, you may wish to consult this campus map.
Driving Directions from Interstate 35 to the Texas State Campus
From I-35, take Exit 206 to Aquarena Springs Drive/Loop 82. From northbound I-35, turn left onto Aquarena Springs Drive/Loop 82. From southbound I-35, turn right onto Aquarena Springs Drive/Loop 82. You will pass two traffic lights and cross over a railroad track. Bobcat Stadium and satellite parking lots will be on your left. You will pass another traffic light and then cross over the San Marcos River. Aquarena Springs Drive intersects with Sessom Drive. You will either continue onto University Drive (Aquarena Springs Drive becomes University Drive), or turn right onto Sessom Drive, depending on where you plan to park on campus. Visitors' parking near our office is available at a number of locations, as indicated below.
Metered Parking at Sessom Drive and State Street
After crossing the San Marcos River on Aquarena Springs Drive, turn right onto Sessom Drive. From Sessom, turn left onto the first street, State Street (just before the traffic light at Peques Street), and proceed up the hill. Metered visitors' parking is available in the first parking lot on your left.
After you park, walk uphill toward the the eleven-story JC Kellam Administration Building, which you will pass on your left. Do not cross the footbridge to the Administration Building. Instead, continue to follow the sidewalk up the hill to the breezeway of the Academic Services Building-North. Walk to the far end of the breezeway, and enter the building to your right, past the soda machine and the drop box for correspondence study assignments. Take the elevator or the stairs to the third floor. Our offices are located in Room 302.

Metered Parking at the JC Kellam Administration Building
After crossing the San Marcos River on Aquarena Springs Drive, continue through the traffic light, onto University Drive (Aquarena Springs Drive becomes University Drive). You will see the main campus to the right of University Drive. Bear right at the second traffic light, to stay on University Drive (do not continue onto CM Allen Parkway). Just after the circular, red brick Theatre Center on your right, turn right onto Moon Drive. Metered visitors' parking is available near the eleven-story JC Kellam Administration Building, past the parking attendant.
The parking attendant can give you further directions to the Academic Services Building-North, or you can proceed into the eleven-story JC Kellam Building, take the elevator at the back of the building to the third floor, and exit at the back of the building.
